Midnight Rogues Burlesque Membership Terms and Conditions

The Membership Application Form and these terms form a legal agreement between us, so please make sure you read
both documents carefully before signing and confirming your agreement.

1. We will send all letters, emails, communications and information to the address and other contact details you have
given us on your Membership Application Form. You confirm that you will advise us as soon as reasonably practicable of any changes to the Member Details.
2. You agree to comply with the Rules of Membership, which will be supplied to you separately and may be updated from time to time.
3. The Initial Fee (pro-rata if joining part-way through a calendar month) is due from you to us, is payable immediately upon signing this agreement, and is not refundable other than in the event of breach or negligence by us.

4. The Membership Fee (£30) is payable in advance on the first day of each month by standing order regardless of non-
attendance.

5. If you are attending individual classes on the Pay As You Go membership, payment is due immediately at the time of booking your class online.

6. In the event that a class is cancelled we will refund part of your Initial Fee or Membership Fee (as applicable) pro-
rata.

7. We reserve the right to increase the Membership Fee if necessary and will give you two complete calendar months’
notice of any increase.
8. You may freeze this agreement for between one complete calendar month and twelve complete calendar months in the event of redundancy, or a temporary illness, injury or medical condition which in the written opinion of a doctor or other suitably qualified medical practitioner prohibits exercise for a period of time. We may require you to produce proof which is satisfactory to us of any of these reasons.
9. We may freeze this agreement or cancel your membership immediately without giving you notice if:
- we consider that you are not medically or physically able to participate in a class or show safely, or;
- your conduct is such that, in our opinion, it may be injurious to the character, name or interests of Midnight Rogues Burlesque, or is such that it makes you unfit to associate with other members of Midnight Rogues Burlesque.
In the event that we freeze or terminate your membership pursuant to this clause we will not refund any Membership Fee already paid for that calendar month.
10. You may cancel this agreement by giving us one full calendar month’s notice in writing by e-mail to
midnightroguesburlesque@gmail.com. If we receive your notice on the first day of the month, your membership
will end on the last day of the same month.
11. We may cancel your membership at any time for any reason by giving you one full calendar month’s notice in
writing. In these circumstances, we will refund you the fee that you have paid for any period after the termination
date.
12. We reserve the right to make changes to the facilities we use and the dates and times they are available to you where necessary, though we will give you as much notice as reasonably practicable in such an event.
13. We are not qualified to express an opinion that you are fit to safely participate. You must obtain professional or specialist advice from your doctor before participating. You should consult your doctor before you begin if you are
not sure whether it is suitable. If you have any concerns about your physical condition at any time you must get
medical advice before attending any classes or shows.
14. In the absence of any negligence or other breach of duty by us, your participation in any classes or shows is entirely at your own risk.
15. In the absence of any negligence or other breach of duty by us, we are not responsible for any theft, damage, destruction or loss of your property or belongings while participating in our classes or shows, or using facilities
connected with them.
16. Your membership with us is governed by English law and you hereby irrevocably agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim that arises out of or in connection with this Agreement or its subject matter or formation.
